About the project

At the beginning of the year, when I was thinking about what I want to achieve in 2026, I set my health as the biggest priority.

For almost 10 years, I’ve been consistently inconsistent with working out. As you can imagine, I had my reasons. A mindset change I had a while ago made me get around those excuses this time. By the time of this post, I’ve hit the gym at least 3 days a week for 6 months, sometimes even 6 days a week, planned my meals weekly, tracked my macros daily... I hit my end of year goal in July.

Things that I learnt and embraced during that time inspired me to build a fitness app. After building Bite, I wanted this to give me more room to experiment with things I’d normally be hesitant to try.

That’s Dare. An app that locks your apps if you don’t hit your daily and weekly workout goals.
