About the project

Launching an app has never been easier, and as a result, getting people’s attention has never been more difficult.

When Ruya’s founder reached out to me, he mentioned Ruya was doing good work in that regard and getting consistent leads, but its retention rate was low and he wasn’t happy with the design at all.

So my role was to first understand why someone wouldn’t come back after downloading and using a niche app for the first time, and how I could make it more engaging while giving it a brand new look.
